KUCHING, July 14: A fire destroyed four blocks of workers’ quarters at Taman Tumbina, Bintulu.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, after receiving a call regarding the incident at 6.14pm, firefighters from Bomba Bintulu and Kidurong were rushed to the location.

Based on a report from the operation commander upon arrival at the location, all four blocks comprising 42 units was 100 per cent destroyed in the incident.
At the time the report was written, firefighters were still extinguishing the flames utilising water sources from the fire engine.
No casualties were reported at the time of publication. — DayakDaily
