KUCHING, Sept 13: A fire broke out at a shoplot unit along Jalan Chung Hua in Serian today.
According to Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre today, they received a call regarding the incident at 1.24pm and deployed a team from Bomba Serian to the location.

Based on initial reports, the fire broke out on the first floor of the shophouse unit.
The extinguishing operation is ongoing as of press time, by firefighters from Bomba Serian, assisted by Bomba Siburan and Bomba Batu Lintang. — DayakDaily
