BINTULU, Aug 14: Ten were hurt as a fire broke out at a bottom reactor in Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu-Miri Coastal Road here today.
According to a report by Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), they received a distress call on the incident at 6.24pm before deploying a team of firefighters from Samalaju Fire Station (BBP) to the scene.

It was reported that the fire was successfully brought under control by the factory’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) team prior to the Bomba’s arrival.
“Six were hurt during the fire while four others suffered burns and were rushed to the Bintulu Hospital,” Bomba said. — DayakDaily
