KUCHING, July 25: A fire damaged part of an office of a car dealership along Jalan Sultan Iskandar in Bintulu tonight.
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 8.42pm, and firefighters from the Bintulu and Kidurong stations were deployed.

The fire involved the lower section of the office within the two-storey premises measuring 100ft by 80ft. The affected area, measuring 20ft by 20ft, sustained an estimated 30 per cent fire damage.
It was noted that the fire was extinguished using two 300-foot hose lines, three nozzles, a fire engine pump, and water supplied from a nearby fire hydrant.
The fire was brought under control at 9.15pm, and the operation ended at 9.58pm. — DayakDaily
