Female motorcyclist breaks leg in self-accident

MIRI, Sept 6: A 29-year-old woman sustained bodily injuries and broke her right leg after she suddenly lost control of her motorcycle and skidded off the Tudan Miri road on Tuesday afternoon (Sept 4).

In the 1.20pm incident, the victim was riding alone heading towards Tudan from Lutong.

As a result of the incident, the female rider was thrown off the motorcycle and landed a few inches away from the road divider.

A team of Malaysian Civil Defence Department (JPAM) personnel and an ambulance from Miri Hospital were immediately despatched to the scene after receiving an emergency call on the crash.

The victim was immediately taken to Miri Hospital for treatment. — DayakDaily
