KUCHING, Sept 9: The first night of Borneo Music Festival Live (BMFL) 2022 ran smoothly with spectators seen flooding the entire field in front of the main stage at Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV) here tonight.

Weather? Just nice. Food? Mouth-watering. Crowd? With their hands in the air!

The first day featured an amazing lineup comprising local acts DJ Paul, DJ Afick (from ERA Sarawak), Amanda (from MY Sarawak), Lanny (from HITZ Sarawak), Buloh Berkocak, Tuku’ Kame’, DJ Chaca, Rynn Lim, DJ Ice Cream, MC Vibe, DJ X Factor and Moski Love.

South Korean-DJ Hwang So-Hee, or better known by her stage name DJ Soda is expected to wrap up the night at 10.45pm later.

During the DJs’ sessions, many electronic dance music (EDM) lovers could be seen showing off their dancing skills on the dance floor as the music blasted through the speakers accompanied by an impressive lightshow, pyrotechnics and smoke.

Apart from various food stalls, the organiser Firmament Event Studio also set up a medical centre to provide early response for any unwanted incidences, just in case.

The organiser also provides shuttle bus services for the attendees from the city centre to the festival venue.

Others have also opted to drive all the way up to Damai Golf and Country Club to park, as no cars will be allowed from that point onwards, with exception to VIPs and relevant parties on duty.

Those who park their cars at the Club will be able to hop onto a shuttle bus provided, which will ferry them to the venue. — DayakDaily
