Federal ministry gathering feedback to revamp cultural policy

MIRI, March 23: In line with vast development that would accompany the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), it is about time to revamp the country’s cultural policy to make it more sustainable.

Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture deputy secretary-general Soraya Arbi said the revamping would be a comprehensive and holistic one in order to make Malaysia great, with its citizens valuing their heritage.


“Today’s programme is about collecting ideas and inputs so that we can put it into our (cultural) policy. We need to know what you want for the betterment of the country’s cultural development and sustainability,” she said here this morning when addressing some 150 stakeholders .
