KUCHING, Jan 14: Images of a vehicle purportedly swept away by floodwaters in Sungai Sarawak circulated in social media today is believed to be mischief by pranksters.
The posting, made by the Amazing Sarawak Facebook about fours earlier today has been shared about 1,600 times.
It also triggered a frenzy in newsrooms here.
When contacted the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) assistant operations director PgKB I Henderi Ardimanshah said their operations centre did not receive any emergency call regarding such an incident.
“Bomba Sarawak did not receive any report on this,” Henderi said. -DayakDaily
