KUCHING, Sept 15: Two men were allegedly assaulted by another man using a baton outside a house located at Muara Tabuan on the night of Sept 12.
The incident happened at 11.45pm when one of the victims reached home and was attacked by the suspect using a baton.
One of the victims told DayakDaily, when the first victim was attacked by the suspect, he shouted for help from his father, who was sleeping in the house. The victim’s father, who is the second victim, rushed out from the house and attempted to stop the suspect from attacking his son.
The suspect was later subdued by the father and the son immediately contacted the police. Upon arrival at the scene, the police arrested the suspect.
The first victim suffered injuries on the left of his forehead while the second victim suffered injuries on the right of his forehead. A police report was later lodged over the incident. — DayakDaily
