KUCHING, Oct 28: Facilities and equipment in Taman Malihah Community Health Clinic will be upgraded to provide better health services for local residents, says Senior Work Minister Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof.
Fadillah, who is also Petra Jaya incumbent, said they are also considering whether there is a need for a special building for the clinic or if it should be relocated to a more suitable location.
He told this to reporters when met during a visit to Taman Malihah Community Health Clinic, here today.
According to Fadillah, the clinic was known as 1Malaysia Clinic previously before it was upgraded into a health clinic.
However, he said, after it was upgraded, the facilities and equipment inside still remain the same as it was under the 1Malaysia Clinic.
He added that on average, the clinic serves about 80 regular patients, including 80 mothers and child patients.
“For the time being, the clinic has submitted a list of their needs, and I, together with Tupong assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman will try to help to ensure the comfort of patients and staff at the clinic,” he said. — DayakDaily
