“The purpose of EPF coming here is to learn about Sarawak’s strategy, especially regarding potential investment in the renewable energy sector and also to learn about all new strategies and policies in Sarawak,” he told reporters when met after a courtesy call to Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia today.

He said that as a significant energy player in Southeast Asia, Sarawak has a variety of new investment potential in terms of hydro, solar, and floating solar projects.

“So there is a lot of potential that will require relatively high investment, and from our perspective, we want to reach out to find out how we can participate in a new investment in Sarawak,” he added. — DayakDaily
