EMCO for Kg Mongkos from July 2-15 after 44 cases detected

KUCHING, July 1: An Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) will take effect in Kampung Mongkos, Serian tomorrow after the location registered a total of 44 new Covid-19 cases.

According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today, the EMCO will last for two weeks period until July 15.

In Tatau, an EMCO was also declared for Rh Was Anak Jenteng in Sungai Entajum, from yesterday (June 30) until July 13, while in Meradong, the EMCO at Rh Nyandang in Sungai Rayah, along the JKD road of Bintangor, is in force starting today until July 17.


Meanwhile, SDMC also announced the end of EMCO in 13 locations in Sri Aman, Bintulu, Tatau, Betong and Kanowit, and Sibu.

For seven locations, namely Rh Kilon in Sebu Ulu of Sri Aman; Chicwan workers’ quarter in Mile 5 of Bintulu; Ladang Sebubu quarters 15 in Samalaju of Bintulu; Ladang Almabumi Plantation Sdn Bhd workers’ quarters in Ulu Sebauh of Bintulu; Rh Bulu Anak Amit in Sg Semanok of Tatau; Rh Salang Anak Unsa in Sg Separai of Tatau; and Rh Sylvester Bunsu Anak Ganyun in Ng Selilai Kakus of Tatau, the EMCO had already ended on June 30.

As for Rh Dana in Nanga Tebalau, Betong and Rh Kubu in Nanga Tada, Kanowit, their EMCO ended today.

For four other locations, namely Rh Grace Itun and Rh Pinggan, both in Sungai Salim, and Rh Empauk Anak Manggi in Pulau Dudong, their EMCO will end tomorrow. — DayakDaily
