EMCO extended for Sungai Kawi, Kampung Darul Falah, Mukah Polytechnic, two longhouses

KUCHING, April 24: The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) has been extended between seven to 13 days for Sungai Kawi and Rumah Panjang Jugah in Sarikei, Kampung Darul Falah in Bintangor, Rumah Panjang Jalan Bukut Balingian in Mukah and Mukah Polytechnic.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in its daily report on the Covid-19 situation in Sarawak, announced that the EMCO for Sungai Kawi in Sarikei will be enforced until May 6 while Rumah Panjang Jugah in Sungai Bulat will have its EMCO extended until April 30. Both are located in Sarikei.

As for the EMCO at Kampung Darul Falah in Sungai Gemuan, Bintangor of Sarikei, it will last until May 7, while Rumah Panjang Jalan Bukut Balingian in Mukah will undergo the EMCO until May 8.

The EMCO at Mukah Polytechnic will be enforced until May 6.

Meanwhile, Rh Mut in Julau, Rh Robert and Rh Jawa in Sarikei, and Form Six College in Betong are also under EMCO restrictions.

The EMCO at Rh Mut in Nanga Maong, Sungai Majok of Julay will be enforced until May 2.

As for Rh Robert in Ulu Paoh, it will be enforced until May 4 while Rh Jawa in Sungai Kerubong Selalang until May 5. Both longhouses are located in Sarikei.

The Form Six College in Saratok, Betong will be under EMCO until May 6. — DayakDaily
