SIBU, March 3: Sibu Division Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) has decided to extend the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) on seven of the 20 flat blocks in Sibu Jaya by another week as Covid-19 cases are still high.
Sibu DDMC chairman Charles Siaw in a statement today said the affected flats are Block C, H, J, K, L, H and R.
The extension is from 12.01am on March 5 to 11.59pm on March 11.
“The EMCO for Sibu Jaya Flats and Town Villa Housing was supposed to end at 11.59pm on March 4. However as the number of Covid-19 caseS is still very high, we have decided to extend it by another seven days,” he said. — DayakDaily
