KUALA LUMPUR, March 20: The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) enforced at Kampung Tringgus, Bau near Kuching will end tomorrow (March 21).
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the Health Ministry (MoH) has conducted 55 screenings and four Covid-19 positive cases from the village were identified.
“MoH confirmed that the number of cases are on the decline and the cluster is under control.
“There are screening samples awaiting results of Covid-19 as well,” he said in a press statement today.
Nonetheless, Ismail Sabri explained that the government has decided to end the EMCO at Kampung Tringgus following a risk assessment exercise conducted on the village. — DayakDaily
