EMCO announced for several areas in Bintulu, Engkelili and Betong

KUCHING, June 26: Squatters along Jalan Kidurong and rented houses above Jom Ngetah shop in Bintulu are among the five localities that have been placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from today until July 9.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today said that two other localities in Lubok Antu, namely Rh Nancy and Rh Langkop, both in Marup Atas of Engkelili, have also been placed under the EMCO for the same period of time.

In Betong, the ECMO will be implemented in Rh Mendali in Buyong Panjai, starting tomorrow (June 27) until July 10.

On the same note, the committee also announced the end of the EMCO implemented in two localities today, in Julau and Sebauh.

The two localities are Rh Mambong in Nanga Linggah of Julau, and Rh Robert anak Pengaban in Sebauh. — DayakDaily
