KUCHING, July 12: An elderly man was found dead in a house at Lorong Kempas 6A1, Kempas Heights, here today.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 1.03pm, with the complainant reporting a foul stench coming from one of the neighbours’ houses, which was locked, and a team from the Tabuan Jaya station were deployed to investigate the matter.

Upon arrival, firefighters were successful in entering the house, where they found a man in his 60s who had passed away.
Based on information obtained from the neighbours, the victim lived alone. He was estimated to have passed away a week ago. — DayakDaily
