KUCHING, Feb 16: A E-hailing driver suffered injuries and was pinned inside his car after a collision with a four-wheel drive at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman here yesterday evening.
It was understood that the victim was ferrying passengers from a neighbouring country when the incident occurred at 11.09pm.
According to witnesses, the four-wheel drive, which was travelling on the opposite lane, had lost control and collided with the victim’s car.
The two passengers from the victim’s car were pulled out by the public and were sent to the hospital for treatment.
Fire and Rescue personnel reached the scene not long after and rescued the trapped victim, who was immediately rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment. — DayakDaily
