KUCHING, July 17: Dunkcurn Niem Dakeh has emerged as the winner of the 722 Sarawak Independence Day Cultural Parade 2025 Logo Design Competition, triumphing over 157 entries submitted by creative Sarawakians from across the State.

The organising committee announced the winners today, praising the remarkable talent and passion showcased by participants in capturing the spirit of Sarawak’s cultural pride and independence.

In second place is Collin Vandenbergh, while Hadijah Haden secured third prize.

“The Organising Committee extends its heartfelt thanks to all participants for their creative and meaningful contributions. Your enthusiastic support has made this competition a true celebration of Sarawakian identity and artistic expression,” the committee said in a statement.

All three winners will receive their prizes on July 22 at Tasik Biru around 9am.

The committee also encourages members of the public to join the Cultural Parade in traditional attire to mark Sarawak Independence Day in vibrant unity.
