KUCHING, June 29: Jalan Stutong Baru will be partially closed from 8pm to 5am for road maintenance works beginning today until July 1.
The Kuching Division of the Public Works Department (JKR) in a statement yesterday disclosed that maintenance works will involve the road along Sg Rengas bridge.
As such, JKR Kuching advised motorists to exercise caution when approaching the road section throughout the maintenance periods.
Motorists are also urged to watch out for and adhere to all road traffic signages and markings which have been installed throughout the affected area.
JKR Kuching said that it will inform the public of any changes to the dates, time and areas affected by the maintenance works from time to time.
Motorists are also encouraged to plan their travel by using alternative routes until maintenance works have been completed.
