KUCHING, Dec 17: The Ang Cheng Ho Quarry rejuvenation project will potentially expand and include another 40 acres of public green park.
According to Deputy Premier Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian, who is also Batu Kawah assemblyman, the expansion of the project will include commercial mixed zones and theme park, as well as public transportation development node.
“Together with the nearby Batu Kawah Riverbank Park (phase 3 and phase 5 on going), Batu Kawah will be the place to work, play and innovate,” said Dr Sim in a Facebook posting today
He added that sitting partially on top of the 20 acre lake, currently, is the Phase 1 of the Ang Ch’eng Ho Quarry rejuvenation project which includes a multipurpose sport and social community hall with innovation hub. — DayakDaily
