KUCHING, Nov 7: The Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) election manifesto announced last night (Nov 6) is realistic and can be fulfilled, said Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) senior vice president Dato Sri Stephen Rundi Utom.

“On the manifesto, it is people-centric and focused on developing the State, where we will fulfil the promises made (in the manifesto),” Dr Rundi told a press conference today.

Dr Rundi, who is also Minister of Food Industries, Commodities and Regional Development, earlier officiated at the ‘Karnival Jualan Tani 2022’ and Agriculture Skill Training Centre at Semonggok here.

According to Dr Rundi, the 15th General Election (GE15) manifesto announced by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg was similar to the one during the last State election in fighting for Sarawak’s rights under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).

He called on Sarawakians to go all out and vote for GPS candidates to continue fighting for Sarawak’s rights.

“For this election, it is not about the candidates (whether we like the person or not), but for all Sarawakians and to continue with our projects and development agendas,” Dr Rundi pointed out.

He added that the people should have enough during Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) 22-month tenure as the Federal government, where several projects in the State were scrapped. — DayakDaily
