KUCHING, Nov 14: Deputy Prime Minister Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof has issued a warning about a fake letter bearing the official letterhead of the Prime Minister’s Department and his name.

In a statement today, he noted that the counterfeit letter, which was addressed to an individual in Sarawak, falsely claims to appoint the recipient as an officer in his office.

“I confirm that no such letter has been issued by my office, and it is indeed a counterfeit letter. It merely cites my name without my signature,” he stated.

Fadillah urged anyone receiving such a letter not to be deceived and to contact his office at 0388724462 for verification. — DayakDaily
