KUCHING, Aug 3: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Amar Fadillah Yusof will undergo heart bypass surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in the near future, under the advice of a team of medical specialists.
According to a statement issued by his office, his condition has been reported as stable, and he has been advised to rest completely and is not encouraged to receive visitors to ensure that his treatment and recovery proceed smoothly.
“In this regard, the family requests that the public join them in praying that his surgery and treatment proceed smoothly, that he is granted a full recovery, and that he is able to return to his duties as usual,” said the statement.
