KUCHING, May 26: Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Digi) opened its 16th Digi Store Express (DSE) outlet in the state in Kuching today.
This new outlet is part of Digi’s commitment to make it more accessible for Sarawakians to enjoy the best Internet and digital services with Digi in more areas across the state.
Located at the ground floor of AEON Mall at Jalan Keretapi here, the outlet also marks Digi’s continued promise to deliver a seamless retail experience for customers through its new open retail concept.
With the new attractive layout, the store was built to be more interactive with live demo devices, allowing customers a more hands-on experience.
Trained retail staff will also be on hand to assist customers with information on specific products or plans, and would be able to help customers choose the right devices that suit their needs.
The outlet is the ninth in Kuching and was launched by Digi Sarawak Region Head Casper Goh alongside AEON Mall’s manager Erwin Ranyes and its Digi dealer partner from Simple Style Mobile Wong Han Lung.
Goh said the opening of the new DSE outlet would provide added convenience to the many Digi customers who live and work around the area.
“The DSE outlet is part of Digi’s new retail concept that reflects customers’ expectations for better service experience while offering greater accessibility and convenience,” he said prior to the launching.
Goh said customers would expect a more seamless experience when they visit the new outlet for services such as postpaid bill payments, SIM card replacements, Mobile Number Portability (MNP) services and phone bundling packages.
On top of that, he added, customers could have hands-on experiences on the latest devices on display, and a chance to check out a wider range of products and accessories.
“New customer registrations will also be a breeze with our Digi Mobile Sales Agents (MSA) — a sales system that speeds up the registration process to as fast as 20 seconds — in line with our ambition to ensure a better customer journey,” said Goh.
In conjunction with the official opening of the new AEON Mall DSE outlet, Digi is giving a RM100 rebate to the first customers who sign-up for a device bundle when they visit the store from today onwards.
