Deputy Premier to engage with manufacturing, digital, renewable energy, aerospace companies in Tokyo

KUCHING, Aug 11: Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan is scheduled to have several meetings with companies in manufacturing, digital, renewable energy, and aerospace services during his working visit to Tokyo, Japan.

According to a statement, this followed the launching of Sarawak Week at the Malaysia Pavilion, World Expo Osaka, where Awang Tengah represented Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

The Deputy Premier also held a breakfast networking session with the Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, where matters of mutual interest, including areas of investment and trade interest with Malaysian Investment Development Authority and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) in Japan, were discussed
