Deputy Premier thanks Devt Bank of S’wak for RM250k contribution to Unifor Charitable Trust

KUCHING, July 5: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglah Uggah Embas expressed gratitude to the Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS) for contributing RM250,000 to the Sarawak Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) Charitable Trust (SUCT).

Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglah Uggah Embas, who is also minister-in-charge of  Unifor, said through the contribution, DBOS is helping the unit in fostering socio-religious harmony, preserving inclusivity, and supporting underprivileged communities.

“This generous donation will be significant for SUCT in executing its programmes,” he said in a statement today.

He also hoped that DBOS would continue to support SUCT in its charitable commitment to the non-Muslim community in Sarawak.

Earlier on, SUCT chief executive officer John Kennedy Janang paid a courtesy call to Uggah at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia in Petra Jaya. — DayakDaily
