KUCHING, March 30: Sarawak’s success as a progressive investment hub and a trusted trade destination is the result of close cooperation between the government, the private sector, and the people who are always united.
In his Hari Raya Aidilfitri message, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan called upon everyone to continue striving for excellence for Sarawak and the country, driving innovation, and strengthening global trade networks, while ensuring that every level of society enjoys the benefits of economic development.
“Unity is a pillar of stability, peace, and harmony in society. Respect is the culture of our society despite differences in religious beliefs, languages, and backgrounds.
“Aidilfitri is a symbol of unity, forgiveness, and strengthening community relations. In this era of development and globalisation, values such as integrity, kindness, and simplicity are important for us to preserve, not only in personal relationships, but also in leadership, administration, and trade practices,” he said.
He also added that the Sarawak government will continue to strive to make Sarawak a developed State by 2030 and improve the income and living standards of the people.
At the same time, he also called on those returning to their hometowns always to prioritise safety, obey traffic rules, and take care of themselves and their families.
