KUCHING, April 7: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas was at Spaoh Riverfront yesterday (April 6) to officiate at the Sarawak United National Youth Organisation (Saberkas) Bukit Saban’s ‘bubur lambuk’ porridge event in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan.
According to a statement, the Saberkas ‘bubur lambuk’ event is held annually during the month of Ramadan as a platform to foster friendship between the youth and local communities.
Together with Uggah, who is also Bukit Saban assemblyman, were Betong MP Dr Richard Rapu and Spaoh sub-district administrative officer Lister Clement Guwie.
Meanwhile, Saberkas Bukit Saban branch was represented by deputy chairman Faizul Sulaiman. — DayakDaily
