KUCHING, July 6: A total of RM70,000 in funds has been distributed to registered associations by Sarawak Deputy Minister for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (Meesty) Dr Hazland Abang Hipni at his office here on Tuesday (July 4).
According to a Meesty press release, Dr Hazland, who is also Demak Laut assemblyman, stated in his speech that he hoped the funds would allow each association to move forward with their plans and implement beneficial activities and programmes.
Among the recipients of the funds are Tabika Kemas Bako Hijrah, Tabung Jawatankuasa Tilawah Al-Quran Daerah Kuching, Kelas Kerohanian Kemas Kampung Tabuan Cemerlang, Tetuan Wanita N5 Demak Laut, Majlis Kebajikan, Kebudayaan & Riadah JPN (Sarawak), Persatuan Alumni JOSIPA 82, and Persatuan Anak Sarawak Melaka. — DayakDaily
