KUCHING, March 23: A dead body was found along a river in Bintawa this afternoon.
The Fire the Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call about the discovery around 12:51pm
Initially, the firefighters were unable to access the area where the dead body was found due to low tide. The Bomba team later managed to reach the scene through the barrage located at Marina Bay which is 10km away from the scene.
The firefighters retrieved the dead body and brought the remains back to the Marine Department jetty before handing the body over to the police.
The police later revealed that the deceased had been reported missing since last Friday (March 20). — DayakDaily
