KUCHING, March 13: Dato Sri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar opined that Barisan Nasional’s (BN) victory in the Johor election yesterday reflects the people’s acceptance of Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) inability to govern the country.

The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) said during PH’s 22-month tenure as the government of the day, it has failed to provide any returns for the country and the people.

“Therefore, the people have manifested anger against PH. This was then translated into the election results in Melaka, Sarawak and then Johor (where PH was defeated),” he said during his visit to Kampung Tanjung Bako today.

The Santubong MP further said that while governing the country wasn’t easy, the head of the government needs to be a wise leader.

“It is not about reformation. On the contrary, the people want food on the table, an increase in economy and foreign investments, and stability in politics and among the people.

“The reflection (election results) is very simple to educate parties who think they are too clever and able to govern the country,” he added. ― DayakDaily
