KUCHING, Dec 3: DayakDaily will be organising a friendly forum with the topic “Vote Wisely & Responsibly: It Comes Only Once Every Five Years” tomorrow night (Dec 4).
From 7pm to 10pm at Imperial Hotel, eight invited speakers will share their views concerning people’s rights to vote and, on top of that, to vote wisely.
Speakers of the night will be Dato Idris Buang, Dato Janang Bungsu, Shankar Ram Asnani, Justin Sim, Chong Chieng Jen, Dominique Ng, Lina Soo, and Dr Gabriel Walter, while Peter Sibon will act as the moderator.
The forum will be divided into two segments whereby each speaker gets to convey their thoughts for a certain amount of time before they get two questions from the floor.
Through the Question & Answer (Q&A) sessions, interactions are allowed between the audience and speakers as the forum aims to be a platform for opinion exchange on the topic of voting, especially with the 12th Sarawak Election (PRN12) just around the corner.
It also serves to encourage Sarawakians to cast their votes in upcoming polls while the mandate to choose the right leaders for the State is within the palms of their hands, despite the wariness of Covid-19 infections as the pandemic persists.
Meanwhile, entrance tickets are available for sale at RM80 each at the DayakDaily office at the following address: 1st Floor, Sublot 35, Lot 3536, TT3 Plaza, Off Jalan Canna, 93350, Kuching.
Members of the public who are interested may visit the DayakDaily office today (Dec 3) from 10am to 8pm and tomorrow (Dec 4) from 10am to 12pm.
