KUCHING, Aug 31: Construction for the proposed Darul Hana underpass is set to commence with the development of a temporary road on the median of Jalan Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Muhammad Salahuddin in Petra Jaya, scheduled from Sept 4 until Dec 3.
According to an advisory notice, the Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) stated that the project’s contract period spans two years from July 15, 2024 to July 14, 2026.
As construction begins on the temporary road in the median, LCDA advised road users to exercise caution when passing through the area and to adhere to traffic management instructions to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
Any changes to the dates, times, or areas affected by the construction will be communicated by LCDA as necessary.
Road users are also encouraged to plan their journeys in advance to avoid congestion and inconvenience.
LCDS apologised for any inconvenience and disruptions caused and hopes for the cooperation of all road users throughout this period.
