KUCHING, July 25: The Darul Hana Musical Fountain at the Kuching Waterfront will temporarily cease operations from July 28 to 31 to allow for the integration of a new lighting system.
In a notice issued today, Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) stated that the short break is necessary to facilitate upgrades involving both the Kuching Waterfront’s lighting infrastructure and the musical fountain system.
This effort is aimed at enhancing visitors’ experience and improve the visual features of the waterfront area.
The popular musical fountain, which has become an iconic attraction along the Sarawak River, typically draws large crowds during its nightly shows with synchronised water displays, lights, and music.
DBKU expressed appreciation for the public’s understanding and patience during the brief disruption, assuring that operations will resume as soon as the works are completed.
For information, the public can contact DBKU’s Public Communication Division at 082-512200 or email to prd@dbku.gov.my. — DayakDaily
