KUCHING, June 30: The Darul Hana Musical Fountain located at Kuching Waterfront is still operating as usual with the cultural video performance projected on a hydro screen played during the first show.
According to a reliable source, the Fountain’s viewing session is from 8.30pm to 8.45pm and 9.30pm to 9.45pm daily.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, there will be an extra or third session from 10.30pm to 10.45pm.
“The first show (8.30pm) will feature a cultural video performance on a hydro screen showing various dances and motifs of Sarawak.
“This would be followed by a musical dance of water and lights which slowly progresses into the highlight of a laser lightshow,” she told DayakDaily when contacted today.
In previous reports, the fountain is said to be able to shoot jets of water up to 25m high on a 100m-wide floating pontoon in Sungai Sarawak with intricate lights and laser lighting system synced with the music.
It also creates a 9m high and 80m wide water wall which can be used as a giant projector screen.
The Darul Hana Musical Fountain was launched by Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud on Oct 14, 2018.
It is managed and maintained by Kuching North City Commission (DBKU). — DayakDaily
