KUCHING, July 27: The Darul Hana Bridge will be closed on July 27 and July 29 from 12pm to 12am in conjunction with the parade of decorated floats on the Sarawak River near the Kuching Waterfront, which will be held on Saturday (July 29) in celebration of Sarawak’s 60th anniversary of independence.
According to a notice from Ministry of Transport Sarawak (MOTS), which is organising the said parade, it has requested that the Darul Hana Bridge be closed to the public on the specified dates for safety reasons.
In addition, Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) announced yesterday (July 26) that several roads in Kuching will be closed on July 29 at 4.30pm to ensure the smooth operation of the decorated float parade. — DayakDaily
