KUCHING, May 25: Donations in form of food, drinks and other equipment came pouring in for frontliners at the Covid-19 One Stop Centre in Dewan Masyarakat, MBKS today.
The items were handed over to Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng, who received the donations behalf of the team.
Wee disclosed that Teck Kong Trading Sdn Bhd director Dato Alex Pui Chow Hin donated instant noodles, biscuits and packed drinks while Datin Amar Kathryn Wee donated 50 cartons of drinking water and another individual known as Ng Phay Lin donated six cartons of drinking water and biscuits.
Tay Motor Sdn Bhd managing director Aaron Tay donated 10 stand fans and 10 electric jug kettles.
“We sincerely extend our heartfelt thanks to the companies and Good Samaritans for the donations.
“These items will be delivered to the frontliners at the Covid-19 One Stop Centre as soon as possible,” Wee said in a statement.
