KUCHING, March 21: The health screening and medical test for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) are available at the Sarawak Youth and Sports Complex here.

Members of the public who experienced symptoms of Covid-19 have been urged to perform their health screening or medical test at the centre, said the State Disaster Management Committee chairman Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.

He advised people who have fever, coughing, breathing difficulty and flu to visit the centre to seek medical advice of their condition. The centre is ready to handle such cases, he added.

“The (Youth and Sports Complex) centre has two sections to cater for those who are quite sick and those who had slight fever. Medical personnel there will check on them.

“I would like to advise those going there to practice social distancing and to wear face mask,” he said in a statement issued after visiting the facilities today.
