KUCHING, Aug 30: A couple sustained serious injuries while their twin three-year-old sons were also hurt after their car crashed into a tree along Jalan FAC today.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Petra Jaya received the emergency call at 3.15pm and dispatched a team to the scene near Kampung Selang.

Upon arrival, firefighters found that passersby had already helped the twins out of the vehicle.
Firefighters then removed the 32-year-old driver and his wife using a stretcher.
The Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team administered first aid before handing the victims over to an ambulance crew for further treatment.
The operation concluded around 4pm after firefighters ensured the area was safe. — DayakDaily
