KUCHING, July 17: Deputy Minister of Utility and Telecommunication II Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi invites corporate bodies to participate in Kuching North City Hall’s (DBKU) projects to beautify Kuching city.

Dr Abdul Rahman said corporate bodies can participate through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

“I strongly support such projects to be implemented because as we all know, DBKU is now active in implementing the Kuching City beautification programme in line with its CBSSS (Clean, Beautiful, Safe, Smart and Sustainable) plan.

“I have also suggested to invite Sarawak Energy and many others big corporate bodies,” he told reporters after a ceremony to hand over the Datuk Menteri Abang Haji Mohammad Zin roundabout beautification project to Maltimur Resource Sdn Bhd at DBKU headquarters here today.

He said a total of five roundabouts under DBKU supervision are involved in beautification projects.

As of now, he added, two has been completed, namely the Datuk Menteri Abang Haji Mohammad Zin roundabout and the second one near Wisma Bapa Malaysia. — DayakDaily
