Following the accident, the man reportedly experienced pain throughout his body, with his condition believed to be related to the actions captured in the viral video.

Barry said police had begun investigating the incident. He added that a team from the Padawan District Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division inspected the man’s residence in Batu Kitang at about 1.30pm today to obtain further information.

Checks on the man and his residence found no items of criminal concern. An initial urine screening test and a test using the Initial Visual Drug Detection (IVDD) device also returned negative results.

Preliminary investigations further revealed that the man works as a food delivery rider, and police checks found no previous criminal record.
