KUCHING, Jan 13: Continuous heavy rain has been forecast for eight districts in Southern Sarawak until Saturday (Jan 15).
According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department in a statement today, the affected regions are Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu and Mukah.
The department also warned of continuous rainfall in Kapit, Bintulu and Miri (Subis) which is expected until Jan 15.
The warning was issued at 12.50pm today. Rain or thunderstorms are forecast to exceed six hours in the affected areas. — DayakDaily
