Companies, industries of complete vaccinated workforce may resume full operation

KUCHING, July 13: Companies or industries in Sarawak having fully vaccinated workforce can seek full resumption of operation from Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) during Phase Two of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) starting tomorrow (July 14).

For the private sector, the capacity workforce allowed during Phase Two of NRP is 50 per cent.


According to the latest standard operating procedures (SOP) released by SDMC, the list of the industries include timber, fishery, food delivery, manufacturing, electric and energy, telecommunication, banking, hotel and accommodation, ports and airports, judicial services and construction.

This also applies to the construction of infrastructure repair work and maintenance of public and private facilities.

At present, the general administration of these industries and those industries involving counter services, for instance, the banking industry, they are required to follow the operation hour and the standard operating procedure of 50 per cent capacity workforce during Phase Two of NRP. — DayakDaily
