KUCHING, Dec 22: A community policing programme to distribute crime prevention leaflets was held at Gala City Food Court this morning.
The event aimed to raise public awareness of crime prevention. It was organised by Sarawak Community Policing Association, led by Datuk John Lau Pang Heng, and supported by the police.
The association believes safer neighborhoods will be built if everyone participates in crime prevention activities.
The public response has been encourating as the public have expressed their appreciation for the association and the police. More community policing programmes will be held in future. — DayakDaily
