KUCHING, Nov 19: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg today witnessed the payment of zakat from Tabung Haji for the financial year 2020 to Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak.
The handing over ceremony was held at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia this morning.
Tabung Haji for Sarawak and Sabah region Datin Nurlaila Said presented the mock cheque worth RM1,988,927.04 to Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS), represented by the Sarawak Islamic Council president Datu Misnu Taha.
