MIRI, June 27: About 1,500 people are expected to attend the ‘Melanggar Meja 2018’ and ‘Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri’ gathering to be held here on July 7.
Bekenu assemblywoman Rosey Yunus said Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg was expected to officiate at the event, which is scheduled to kick-off at 10am.
Residents from Sibuti constituency are expected to flock to Niah community hall for these festive events, she said after chairing a meeting with the event working committee at Subis District Office yesterday.
There will be a gamut of traditional local delicacies for those present to salivate over, she assured. — DayakDaily
