KUCHING, Jan 24: Citaglobal Bhd (Citaglobal) via its subsidiary Citaglobal Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (CESSB) secured two subcontracts worth approximately RM36.26 million for the construction of station works for the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) project.
In a filing on Bursa Malaysia yesterday, it stated that both subcontracts have a duration of 14 months.
It explained that the first subcontract, valued at RM29.54 million, was from Marquris Holdings Sdn Bhd for the construction and completion of station works for the development of KUTS projects – Phase 1 the construction and completion of infrastructure works for Red Line from Kuching Sentral to Pending for KUTS.
The second subcontract, valued at RM6.72 million, was from 38 Marque Sdn Bhd for steel structure materials purchase for the same KUTS project phase.
The company said, the sub-contracts are expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets per share of the company for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2025 and Dec 31, 2026.
