MIRI, March 7: Five people including a Chinese female national were arrested for suspected drug abuse in a police raid operation, yesterday afternoon.
The other four individuals comprising two local men and two Indonesian men were found in possession ketamin, Eramin 5 and Ecstasy weighing 483.90 grammes with an estimated value of RM10,222.10, during two separate raids held between 12.30pm to 2.45pm.
Miri police chief, ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said the raids were carried out by Miri Police Narcotics Crimes Investigation Department.
The suspects are being investigated under Section 39B, Section 39A(2), Section 3A(1) and Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. — DayakDaily
