KUCHING, Oct 18: The Youth Section of the Federation of Chinese Associations, Kuching, Samarahan and Serian Division will be holding a blood donation campaign on Oct 22 from 9am to 2pm at Boulevard Shopping Mall (in front of Daiso).
In a media release, the federation said that the campaign is organised in response to the call by Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for more blood donations for its Blood Bank.
Supported by Sarawak Hakka Community Association’s Youth Group and assisted by the Malaysian Red Crescent Society Kuching Chapter, the campaign also hopes to raise awareness among the general public on the noble act of saving lives through blood donation.
The federation urges the community to step forward and participate in this campaign by donating blood.
They also extend their sincere gratitude to Boulevard Shopping Mall for providing the venue as well as major sponsors for their generous contributions to this event.
